The Fishing: Bwos have started to come off in the morning and fish are definitely looking up. You can still get a few fish on Tricos but this hatch will probably only last for a couple more days. Running a quill/wonder nymph with a scud/sowbug would be my go to rig in the mornings then switch over to a scud/sowbug and worm in the evenings. Make sure you are getting down to the fish by running an 11 foot rig. This has been very productive, even in shallower riffles and runs. Psuedos and midges have been coming off in the evenings but the intensity of the hatches varies greatly day to day.
Water Condition: The moss and weeds are starting to break up now. Afterbay to 3 Mile has the least amount of weeds. 3 Mile to Bighorn has quite a few more weeds however, the fishing is just as good if not better. The canal got shut off this week so Bighorn and below should start to clear up.
