The Fishing-
Fishing has been good the past few days despite the heat. People are reporting good fishing no mater where you are on the river. Look for tricos to be coming off in the morning as early as 5:45am. During the mid afternoon psuedos have been coming off in good numbers. Expect to use size 20-24 as they are very small. Later in the evening there has still been a good black caddis hatch but it has started to taper off. Double nymph rigs have been very productive with a soft hackle sow bug and a quill nymph above. The streamer bite has died down but expect it to pick up with this cooler weather and thunderstorms moving through.
Water Condidtions-
Good above Bighorn access and get slightly off color below soap creek. very off color where rotten grass creek comes in though. Lots of weeds throughout.
