Greetings from Cottonwood Camp
It has been a quiet Spring in Fort Smith. All of us here at Cottonwood Camp are doing okay and are staying safe and healthy. Like everyone in the world right now, we are adapting constantly to the challenges Covid-19 has presented us and coming up with new ways to keep everyone safe when staying with us here are Cottonwood Camp. A lot of our out-of-state guest reservations have been canceled thus far due to the state of Montana’s ban on out of state travelers. We are optimistic about Governor Bullock’s short term phased plan to return to business. While we support keeping our community and those around us safe, we are also anxious to move to Phase 3 of the reopening plan of our state which allows all of our traveling anglers to be able to join us without a 2 week quarantine. We don’t know when this will take effect, but with the low numbers of Covid-19 cases we are hopeful for the end of the month as a possibility.
We want everyone to know that we are taking necessary safety precautions outlined by the Governor, Bighorn County Health, the Crow Reservation, and the CDC to keep everyone safe and get everyone back on the water.
For those of you that can’t come fish and camp with us just yet, we hope that you will be able to come stay with us very soon. We thank you all again for your understanding and patience as we move through this challenging time. We hope that you and your families are staying safe and healthy.
State of Montana Residence are able to access the river as of May 09, and are able to travel and stay with us come May 15th.
The fly shop and shuttle service are open so give us a shout at 406-666-2391.
