Pierce Oja

Pierce Oja is the Owner and Outfitter at Wet Net Outfitters. Pierce began working in fly shops at 15. Here he formed an appreciation for fine fly rods and customer service. When he was 18 and finishing up high school he was offered his first guide position and jumped at the opportunity. He has now spent over a decade working in the fly fishing industry guiding from Big Horn to the Blackfoot with intimate understanding of all the rivers in between. With a degree in biochemistry, Pierce approaches fishing with a variable limiting, scientific approach that results in bent rods and the best possible day of fishing. As a sixth generation Montanan he prides himself on stewardship and a deep appreciation for the state he and his family call home. Pierce absolutely lives for fishing and is always available, 24/6 - 365 days a year, to discuss all things fishing with guests. When he isn't fishing you can find him tying the next great bug for use on a future trip.

Richard Moats

Born and raised in Montana, I started fly fishing after meeting Bud Lily, my 9th grade science teacher. My lifetime has been spent fishing Montana's waters and learning from some of the best. George Grant, Dan Bailey, Bob Jacklin, and Dave Kumlien who gave me my first guide days.

I have enjoyed many other rivers, streams and waters. Steelhead fishing in Idaho & British Columbia. Trout fishing throughout Wyoming, Colorado, Alberta and Alaska. Bass fishing in Alabama & Tennessee.

I have a passion to help people not only fish but understand that fishing is an art form that is enjoyed but never mastered. Through learned patience and appreciation of this art form my clients always walk away from their trips fulfilled when success is inevitably achieved.

My corporate background gives me a firm understanding of just how important R&R time on the water is! I look forward to sharing my passion of the great outdoors with you on a future trip.

Dave Baxter

Dave started fishing the Little Goose River that ran through his childhood neighborhood as soon as he could hold a fishing pole. He perfected his fly fishing craft along NE Wyoming's Big Goose, Goose, and Tongue rivers. An unexpected ancestral connection led him to the world renowned Bighorn which is now his second home. Dave loves guiding the novice to the ace, the young to the old and everyone in between!

John Mangan

born and raised in Kentucky and his obsession with fly fishing began at the age of 17 when a friend of his invited him to go on a fishing trip. From that point John started taking in as much knowledge as he could and hitting as many streams and rivers as possible. John spent most of his time in and around the Smoky Mountain National Park where he backpacked into the back country in search of brook trout. After he experienced Big Sky Country fishing he was hooked and jumped on the opportunity to move his family to the Bighorn Valley. After cutting his teeth for decades as an industrial electrician, John is blessed to spend his days making memories with guests on & off the mighty Bighorn!

Jefferson Cobb

Jefferson Cobb

Jay’s passion for fly fishing started at a young age with bluegill and bass in Alabama ponds. Moving to Colorado at the age of ten ignited a love for chasing trout anywhere he could find them. After moving back east and guiding in North Carolina for a few years he just couldn’t wait to get back to the big rivers out west. Jay is a great instructor and loves getting new anglers started as well as helping more seasoned anglers hone their skills.

Tisa Hunnewell

Tisa Hunnewell Cobb

Tisa found her love for fly fishing in high school while living in Alaska. She grew up in a military family which allowed her to see and fish many different bodies of water across the country. After guiding a few years in Alaska and North Carolina, Tisa has come back to the bighorn, a river she has always loved. Tisa loves taking people out on the water to make that next great memory. Her patience, bubbly personality, and passion for the sport make her an all-around amazing guide to take you out on the water.
